Claim Navigation and Return to Work Services
Claim Navigation and Return to Work Services works with all parties to navigate the requirements and information from disability insurers compensation boards, and healthcare providers to create successful and sustainable return to work and accommodation plans.
Our focus is on removing barriers to achieve a successful return to work. We take a holistic approach to absence management by educating and leveraging concepts of employee purpose, function, and wellbeing across every interaction, leading to sustainable return to work outcomes.
Vocational Evaluation
In some cases, a TSA is unlikely to identify suitable occupations due to a claimant’s lower level of education; higher earnings; singular work history or a work history that was labour intensive; or if a short-term skills training/education plan is needed. In these scenarios, a Vocational Evaluation can assist in identifying return to work options. A Vocational Evaluation includes formal testing of the claimant’s aptitudes and abilities across several domains to validate that the claimant has the capacity to perform the identified occupation and/or acquire new skills in order to perform another occupation.
Return to Work Readiness Program (RRP)
The Return-to-Work Readiness Program (RRP) provides clients with exposure to simulated work-like activities on a graded schedule, as medically supported by their attending physician/treatment provider(s), to gradually increase the client’s overall level of confidence, cognitive and physical stamina and endurance to return to work.
The program assists the client in restoring their capacity for work and increases work-day tolerance, in addition to re-developing work-related structure and routines. It concurrently aids the client while making necessary adjustments around their personal/family/home commitments in a progressive manner.
